He recently took part in the 8th National Race to End Women’s Cancer in Washington, DC.
Hosted by the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, the National Race to End Women’s Cancer brings cancer survivors and their friends and families together to increase awareness and raise research funds to eradicate gynecologic cancer. In addition to a 5K run and a 1M run/walk, the weekend event features fun activities and a free educational course for cancer survivors.
In 2017, the National Race to End Women’s Cancer was held November 4-5. The event raised nearly $400,000. The funds will support the work of the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, which has directed over $7.82 million toward gynecologic cancer research since it was founded in 1991.
