As a managing director at JP Morgan in Los Angeles, Gary Fournier manages more than $1 billion in assets. Along with his firm, Gary Fournier focuses much of his efforts on supporting nonprofit organizations, such as the Foundation for Women's Cancer and its annual National Race to End Women's Cancer.
The annual National Race to End Women's Cancer is part of a two-day event called End Women’s Cancer Weekend. Participants of the 5K run and 1-mile walk can register individually or as part of a team, and those who cannot participate in person can instead make a donation.
While the run is the primary component of this race, other events fill the rest of the weekend. The Survivors Course provides information about gynecologic cancers from leading experts in the field. The presented information highlights new research and finding in gynecologic oncology as well as ways family and other caregivers can support those diagnosed with these cancers. This portion of the event typically runs a full day.
The 2017 End Women’s Cancer Weekend took place November 4-5 at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC.
