Drawing on nearly four decades of experience in the financial industry, Gary Fournier serves as the managing director of JP Morgan Securities in Los Angeles. The founder of the Debi & Gary Fournier Cervical Cancer Research Fund along with his wife, he recently attended the 8th Annual Race to End Women's Cancer.
Every year since its establishment in 2009, the Foundation for Women's Cancer has hosted the Annual Race to End Women's Cancer. The foundation seeks to raise awareness about gynecologic cancer, remember those who have passed away, and celebrate cancer survivors.
Both women and men come together from across the nation to participate in the race, which includes a 5K and mile run/walk. The event also includes a pre-race program designed to inspire. Both survivors of cancer and advocates for cancer research share their stories and their wisdom. Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in an educational survivors course among other informational offerings.
The 2018 Annual Race to End Women's Cancer will take place in November in Washington, D.C. To register for the event, or to find out more information, visit www.endwomenscancer.org.
